Pierre Fontaine, RSHom (NA), CCH has had a thriving homeopathic practice in New York City, specializing in autism, for 25 years. The parents who seek his services for their children on the autism spectrum refer to him as the Autism Whisperer, and for good reason: Pierre has over 1,000 autism cases which have been largely improved or completely reversed. During this course, Pierre will share his specific methods of case taking and case analysis. He’ll also offer insights into the curative remedies he’s used, including some newly proven ones. He’ll provide details about the various types of autism, all of which have been on the rise over the past 10 years. Pierre will present cases of children, teenagers and young adults.
One bleak recent statistic from the Center for Disease Control (CDC) is that 1 in 44 children are diagnosed with an autism spectrum disorder (ASD). The tragedy of this epidemic stretches beyond debilitated lives and into economic hardship. The Autism Speaks organization reported that the cost of caring for Americans with autism had reached $268 billion in 2015 and was predicted to rise to $461 billion by 2025 – unless we can turn this epidemic around.
We all know the telltale signs of an autistic child – the hand flapping, the lack of eye contact, and the limited speech being some of the most common – but did you know that many of these symptoms are an expression of pain? Pierre will explain how autism is a pain-filled phenomenon, and how the key to healing it is in fully understanding the child’s experience of that pain. To succeed with a homeopathic remedy, one must also understand the restricted repetitive behaviors (RRBs). For instance, if a child wants to watch a spinning wheel for hours at a time, one must find out why. Without this information, and if one prescribes only on the typical autistic symptomology, “we are left with cases we can’t solve.”
Pierre’s case-taking method brings voice to children who can’t speak, which he’ll explain in detail during this course. With multiple case examples, he’ll show how this method, that he terms “surrogacy,” has broken through the limitations of known autism treatments and given his patients remarkable results. This course will not teach sequential prescribing or the blanket use of carcinocinum. If you haven’t met Pierre, you may see him in the recent film about homeopathy, Just One Drop, presenting a MRSA case. Pierre will also discuss the many controversial factors that have been associated with autism, including the use of vaccines. He will provide knowledgeable insights on all of these issues, and also give an overview of how and why current autistic treatments oftentimes fall short.
Parents of autistic children will have a better and more satisfying array of options after taking this course, and homeopaths will have a better understanding of how to successfully treat this pervasive disease, in terms of method, materia medica, and philosophy.

ABOUT Pierre Fontaine
Pierre Fontaine has been a professional Homeopath in New York City since graduating from the 4-year program at the School of Homeopathy in Devon, England in 1994. He is a registered member of the North American Society of Homeopaths “RSHom (NA)” and is certified by the Council on Homeopathy Certification “CCH.”
Before finding homeopathy, Pierre spent five years investigating Acupuncture, Herbal and Vitamin therapy, Ayurvedic medicine, and Nutrition, but found little satisfaction in the principles of the diverse modalities he was researching. While contemplating registration at the Tristate School of Acupuncture, he discovered Homeopathy and it was “love at first sight”.
His leadership qualities were instrumental in the birth of the New York State Homeopathic Association of which he was the founding Vice President. Pierre Fontaine has lectured on Homeopathy at Autism One National Conference, as well as in Dubai and Chile, and at many different colleges: SUNY, St. John’s University, Queens College, and Southampton College. He is the author of Homeopathy, Sweet Homeopathy and One Heart, One Mind, and he has many published articles. He also hosted the TV show, Homeopathic Times.
