Wenda Brewster O'Reilly

Wenda O’Reilly is the editor of the widely-acclaimed annotated edition of Samuel Hahnemann’s Organon of the Medical Art, which is used in teaching homeopathy around the world. Wenda holds a masters degree from Harvard University and a doctorate in education from Stanford. She conducted research on women’s health care and childbirth practices as an affiliated scholar at Stanford University’s Institute for Women and Gender. In her role as Executive Director of The Birth Place, a California out-of-hospital childbirth center, she worked closely with community groups and government agencies, advocating change in the way medicine is practiced and understood. She has served as president and publisher of Birdcage Press since its founding in 1996. She lives with her family in Washington and California.
