Karen Allen

(1957-)

Karen Allen practices in San Francisco, with a focus on reproductive health and fertility.

She worked in software development until a difficult illness for one of her children was resolved with homeopathy. Amazed at the response, she began studying homeopathy formally and began professional practice in 1994.

Karen has taught at conferences and schools throughout North America, and is the author of two widely used homeopathic texts. She is a past adjunct faculty member of Bastyr University, and is currently a faculty member at the American Medical College of Homeopathy in Phoenix, AZ.

She is the creator of Virtual Clinic, a case based web training program that streams video cases for student clinical practice.

She is currently developing material in webinar format for an advanced certificate program in women's health.

Karen also serves as a board member of the Council for Homeopathic Certification, where she is currently working with the committee for accreditation of the homeopathic professional credential 'CCH'.
