Update Information

It is our commitment to deliver the best possible software to support you in your work. Your feedback is very important and will enable us to improve our programs.

We offer these free updates of EH to all who have purchased Encyclopedia Homeopathica. The list shows you which improvements have been programmed in successive versions.

Information about the most recent version update is listed at the top of this list (the list is indexed in descending order). Important new features are in bold. Only this version is an end-user release. The other versions were test-versions or intermediate versions, which are incorporated into the current release.

Version 2.x

Version 1.1

Note: version 1.1 incorporates all other updates as listed. It is not necessary to obtain any earlier version prior to installation.
New: The default Radar program is now Radar8.exe (previously it was Radar7.exe)
New: If radar.ini contained Radar7 as default, EH now searches for Radar8.exe. If this executable file is found, it becomes the default program.
Bug Fix: When starting Radar from within EH the program erroneously tried to open a repertory called "graphical".
Bug Fix: When trying to make a search on remedies from the welcome screen, EH gave a General Protection Fault under Windows ME.

Version 1.0.6

New: In the search window, the proximity symbols are available in Spanish as well.
New: This version is fully translated in German, French, Spanish and Portuguese.
Bug fix: In the summary, sometimes the columns were very large or very small due to the opening of a second database. If the values in the .ini file are abnormal, the default values for columns are now restored automatically.
Bug fix: In the Web look sometimes, the size of the windows was locked and the user could not change it. Also, if the .ini file contains wrong values, EH now automatically restores the default values.
Bug fix: In the summary, the icons to clear the query and change the "Symptoms with hits / all symptoms" were not visible.
Bug fix: In the search, when specifying "Within the same remedy" or "Within the same chapter", the result was not correct.
Bug fix: When changing the language, all dictionaries and files are now refreshed with the new language.

Version 1.0.5

New: You can now specify the abbreviation of the repertory to open when you start Radar from the Encyclopedia Homeopathica program, just set the appropriate abbreviation in the General Options Window.
Bug Fix: When searching for a case pathology and clicking on the analysis button, the program gave an error message.

Version 1.0.4

New: Enhanced multi-lingual support (all the messages are not yet translated.)
Bug Fix: When selecting and printing part of a paragraph, the whole paragraph was printed.
Bug Fix: When searching for "asthma bkl1", selecting all the results, then printing the selection, the last record was printed over and over again.

Version 1.0.3

New: in the status bar, a list of the documents that are open is shown (you can switch with Ctrl-F6). Only visible if more than one document is open.
New: Bitmap files are now stored in the directory \eh\images.
Bug Fix: When trying to highlight a remedy in analysis an error message was given.
Bug Fix: When trying to open another database from within the analysis, an error message was given. Now, File - Open displays the web look before opening the new database.
Bug Fix: When choosing a recent file from the list, sometimes an error message appeared.

Version 1.0.2

New: When copying text from an EH document to your word-processor, the reference was always copied in front of each symptom. If the reference is hidden, now only the text of the symptoms will be copied.
