Dr. Sunil Anand has been practicing homoeopathy for over 20 years, and has earned special recognition for his work in pediatrics. Dr. Anand is a popular teacher worldwide. He is associated with the C.M.P. Homoeopathic Medical College in Mumbai, and has also been an honorary visiting professor in D.S Homoeopathic Medical College in Pune, India.
Over a period of fifteen years, teaching and conducting lectures for under-graduates as well as postgraduates, Dr. Anand rose to the designation of Associate Professor. He has conducted specialized out-patient clinics in Pediatrics at both institutes and has been a very popular teacher. In the Fall of 2009, he begins teaching a two-year post-graduate course at the Vancouver Homeopathic Academy in Vancouver, British Columbia.
Dr. Sunil Anand has been closely associated with the 'Mumbai Group', which includes such well known homeopaths as Drs. Rajan Sankaran and Jayesh Shah. Along with his colleagues, Sunil conducts several training programmes in homeopathic case-taking techniques. This group, Homeopathic Research and Charities, offers quality education in homeopathy to students and doctors from all over the world.
Dr. Anand is known for his use of casual tools such as toys in the clinic, and for his inquiry into doodles and drawings made by his children patients. These provide wonderful insights for his creative and gentle handling of pediatric cases, even those with deep pathology.
He has a close working relationship with conventional doctors from all areas of specialization, many of whom consult him for treatment for themselves and their families as well as refer patients to him.
