Mr. Pitt studied at the College of Homeopathy, London, England from 1981-1984. With George Vithoulkas in Alonisos, Greece 1984 and 1986, and in England in 1985. Also studied with Vasilis Ghegas in England in 1983-1984.

He has practiced homeopathy since 1984, 5 years in England and 11 years in the USA. For the past 6 years, he has practiced in San Francisco. He has taught homeopathy for 14 years, first in England at various colleges and since in the USA.

Currently, he is Executive Director of the Pacific Academy of Homeopathy, San Francisco. He has been on the board of the Council for Homeopathic Certification for 10 years.

Mr. Pitt was President of the CHC between 1995-2000 and Vice President between 1993-1995. In these capacities, he redesigned the national certification exam, introducing guidelines for evaluation of clinical training as well as in-class training. He helped make the CHC the largest certifying organization in North America, with the vision of creating a united profession.

He has spoken at various conferences, including the National Center of Homeopathy annual conference and the conference of the North American Society of Homeopaths. Mr. Pitt has written several articles published in different homeopathic journals.
