Judyann McNamara

Judyann Kathleen McNamara

(1956 -     )

Judyann was born at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital (one of the last homeopathic hospitals to close in North America) on October 24th, 1956 in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.

A severe case of pectus escavatus, and other deformities threatened to bring the new life to a quick end. The family resorted to an experimental operation that involved the removal of the sternum and the thymus gland, and a stay in the hospital under an oxygen tent for many months.

She survived, albeit with a compromised immune system, a displaced heart, and tiny lungs.

Driven with characteristic stubborn willfulness, she left home at 16, put herself through University (Université de Montréal) graduating with honors in Physics, a major in Biology and went on to graduate studies in microwaves and field theory.

While working in the Bio-medical/Bio-Physics research field, she witnessed interesting experiments involving bio-photon exchange and transmission, which sparked her to explore Quantum Biology.

Deteriorated health brought on by multiple operations and prolonged use of antibiotics led her to Homeopathy. Homeopathy provided her with a new lease on life, and a new direction for her curiosity.

By 1992, she had left her job as vice-president of a 60 employee, cross-Canada research company, and had begun a practice in Naturopathy with an emphasis on homeopathy. With continued studies, research and formal unicist training at the CHQ, homeopathy quickly took over her practice.

She was a Director, teacher and member of the Board of Directors of a non-profit Naturopathy school in Montreal for over a decade.

During her mandate, she wrote many manuals on holistic practice, founded the International Association for Holistic Professionals and promoted homeopathy, conscious living and a quantum understanding of living processes through conferences and lectures.

In 2005, through the insistent encouragement of colleagues, clients and other teachers, she founded the Montreal Institute of Classical Homeopathy, lovingly known as MICH (pronounced "meesh") which offers a fully (ICH/ECH/SPHQ) accredited training program.

She thoroughly enjoys sharing her insights for prescribing on the deepest level possible, discovering unconscious limbic responses and the origins of stress in patients with her 40 student-interns who are in their last year of studies.
