President of the Homeopathic Medical College of PA
from 1864 - 1869
Constantine Hering, Jacob Jeanes, and Walter Williamson established the Homeopathic College of Pennsylvania in 1848. It was one of the first institutions to teach homeopathy in the United States.
Adolph Lippe was the president from 1864 to 1869, and helped to establish a core curriculum based on strictly classical homeopathic principles.
The school produced such graduates as Skinner, Berridge, Swan, Constantine Lippe, and E. Farrington. Eventually the school merged with the Hahnemann College of Philadelphia in 1870.
