Starting January 4, 2012 with WHN favorite Dr. Will Taylor
Overview
It has become common practice today to consider homeopathic remedies in the context of remedy-groups — formal taxonomic groups such as botanical families, rows or columns of the periodic table — or analogic groups such as trees, vines, etc.
These approaches hold potential to help us understand and use many of our "small" remedies, as well as to adopt new remedies not yet introduced into our materia medica, based on their possible family resemblances to our better known remedies.
In this 12-hour course, we'll examine:
- The historical development and current status of botanical classification systems
- Perspectives from our classical authors on working with family relationships
- Approaches introduced by contemporary homeopathic teachers for working with plant families
- The use of several different families-functionality features built into our homeopathic analysis software
- The comparative materia medica of some selected botanical families
- A number of acute and chronic cases – at least 2 per week – that illustrate the use of families-based approaches in arriving at the simillimum
Following the initial session, class sessions will focus on casework illustrating the principles presented.

Praise for Dr. Taylor & Our Live Webinar Format
"Dr. Taylor, these focused discussion forums are an added dimension to online education. But their value is entirely in the way you constantly participate. Your thoughtful comments, clues, redirects and additions take this set of online classes to a new dimension.
I think this makes the classes a far better learning experience than traditional ‘brick and mortar’ classes. By giving us time to churn, investigate, go back to the beginning, go off on a few tangents, and approach the information fresh, there is a far deeper learning experience. Thank you for taking the time to enhance this course. What fun!!!!!!!"

"I just want to say how much I appreciate this particular format. It's super to be able to sit down a couple days later at my own time and hear it. Having a quiz to take keeps me alert to what is actually being said. Also, the instructors are keeping communication open and encouraging discussions, which means I'm getting a chance to ask questions and make comments ... So thank you to all who have a hand in this. It's excellent."
