This home study program presents a comprehensive introduction to classical homeopathy. It is designed for individuals who wish to deepen their understanding of homeopathy for personal use - and for medical professionals who may be interested in adding homeopathy to their practice.

The program consists of live video taped lectures from the Hahnemann College four year professional course for licensed medical practitioners. These studio quality edited lectures are complemented with self-administered quizzes.

Foundations of Homeopathy is offered in three series, which may be studied individually or as a complete set. Each series is a complete program of study. Completing the entire home study set gives a student the equivalent of the first full year in Hahnemann College's four year professional course. A Certificate of Completion is awarded on finishing all coursework and associated examinations (see below for more about certification).

This series of lectures presents (40) of the most important remedies used in homeopathy. Drawing from the writings of Kent, Vithoulkas, Morrison, Sankaran and others, the remedies are presented with the living experience of the instructors.

FOUNDATIONS OF HOMEOPATHIC THEORY VOL. I & II

This series of lectures presents the philosophy and practical theory which underlie the practice of homeopathy. The writing of Hahnemann, Kent, and Vithoulkas are explored to give the student an understanding of the historical, philosophical, and scientific basis of homeopathy.

Vol. I is an overview of Homeopathy, essence vs. central delusion, Law of Similars, research in Homeopathy, acute case taking, evolution of a Rx, introduction to books, introduction to repertory (Generals & Mentals), and introduction to the Organon.

Vol. II presents Homeopathic pharmacy, antidotes, aggravations, use of potency, follow up and management of patients on allopathic drugs.

A bonus video, History of Homeopathy I & II, will also be sent along with this concluding volume of the course work.

Home Study Course
CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION

A Certificate of Completion will be issued by the College upon completion all five home study tapes, their corresponding quizzes, and the final program exam.
While no home study course can prepare one for clinical practice, the Hahnemann College of Homeopathy offers this comprehensive introduction to make accurate information available to health professionals and others with a deep interest in homeopathy.

With each module of the Hahnemann Video Course, the student may participate in quizzes which are available via email, mail or on diskette. With the completion of all five modules, Hahnemann will issue you a certificate of completion, and the hours of study completed will qualify towards CHC study requirements.
