Details
Principles of Prescribing, by Kailash Narayan Mathur, was published in 1975.It is a collection of case studies that illustrate the principles of prescribing homeopathic medicines. These cases are from such masters as Hering, Dunham, Lippe, Boger, Kent, Nash, Burnett, and others.
Many different methods are demonstrated including prescribing on the totality, miasms, keynotes, organ affinities, direction of cure, and repertorization.
Though not all of the approaches are widely accepted or utilized, the homeopath can get an idea of their application and judge for herself.

Mr. S. M. Gunavanthe reviews some of the lesser known books from Indian authors and the contributions made by Indian Homoeopaths to Homoeopathic Literature.
Dr. K. N. Mathur - Principles of Prescribing - Pages 671. B. Jain Publishers - Dr. Mathur, a veteran homeopath, was inspired to write as he found that the principles and experiences expounded by a large number of pioneers of Homoeopathy were lost in old Journals.
He therefore collected all the Prescribing Principles (though varied) based on truth, illustrated through cases, which can be verified by other homeopaths.
Contains cases from Hering, Kent, Dunham, Lippe, Nash, Boger, Stearns, Royal, Gutman, Carleton, Burnett, Clarke, Foubister, ect. The chapter on "Principles of Prescribing based on Blood Investigations" will be found interesting.
