From the Book
Nearly a century has elapsed after the first edition of this monumental work of Dr. Kent, a universally recognised goldmine of homoeopathic knowledge. The sixth American edition of this valuable book was published in 1957. Since then all the editions appeared as mere reprints of this edition. Somehow there were some mistakes in it, and also with the passage of time it became necessary to add to the Repertory.
Since the day we had established as publishers of the homoeopathic books in India, we had a keen desire to present master Kent's Repertory of the Homoeopathic Materia Medica in such a clean cut form which may be free from the major mistakes and which may prove more fruitful to the members of the profession to such a greater extent that they could be able to achieve unfailing success in treating their patients all through their busy life.
This is with God's grace that we have been worthy of our endeavouring efforts and the net result is in your blessed hands in the shape of the present Edition of this Repertory.
Dr. P. Sivaraman is an ardent and illustrious homoeopath who had complied his earlier work "Corrections and Additions to Kent's Repertory".
With the help of this and studying the works of many authors he has done the job now. We are glad to present it to the profession with the hope that it will be accepted wholeheartedly.
