PREFACE
To the third edition

It is very heartening to know that the second edition of Septenate Mixtures has been exhausted which proves that this has been found a very valuable addition to Homoeopathy.

I have used some of the mixtures extensively in my charitable clinic where I see more than 700 patients every Monday and I have found them very efficacious. I would certainly recommend these mixtures to everyone practicing Homoeopathy so that they bring credit to the science.

Once again, in this edition, the system adopted in the first edition has been adopted. I have given the most useful potency for each mixture and also its dosage. This was done due to the popular demand from practitioners to give the potency for each mixture.

In spite of this I would again say that these mixtures can be prepared in any potency and they will be found as useful as in the potency given in the book. In my Monday Charitable Clinic I do not have scope for any other potency except the 200 potency and I find them very effective.

Every Physician has to use their own judgment for the selection of potency for each patient. As a guideline I would suggest lower potency for acute cases, middle potency for sub-acute cases and higher potency in chronic cases. Results obtained with the mixtures are most welcome from practitioners.

I owe my thanks to Mr. K. C. Chakravarty for preparing the manuscript carefully. My only regret is that Shri Kanailal Mukhopaddhyay who is no more in the land of the living could not witness the spread of this science for which he gave me all sorts of encouragement.

I am happy that I am receiving the same cooperation from Shri Rathindranath Mukherji, the worthy son of worthy father. May the Almighty give him a long life for the sake of authors like me who entirely depend on him.
