Dr. Luc De Schepper was born May 1, 1946, in Ghent, Belgium. He is the founder of the Renaissance Institute of Classical Homeopathy in Cambridge, Massachsetts and author of twelve books on homeopathy, acupuncture, and holistic health care.

Dr. Luc has seen over 200,000 patients in 29 years of practice, and in recent years has treated them exclusively with homeopathic remedies in LM potencies.

Dr. Luc has medical licenses in Belgium and the United States; and Acupuncture licenses in Holland and California; and a Ph.D. in Acupuncture from the International Society of Acupuncture in Paris.

Dr. Luc has has recieved the Diploma of the British Institute of Homeopathy (D.I. Hom.) as well as the Certificate of the Hahnemann Academy of North America. He is fluent in four languages and is a renowned lecturer in the fields of acupuncture and homeopathy.

Dr. Luc was in private practice for many years at his offices in New Jersey, Santa Monica and San Diego. He founded the Mega Medical Group Inc. in Santa Monica, California where for eight years he supervised a staff of 16 health care practitioners including MDs, nurses, chiropractors, nutritionists, and massage therapists.

He has appeared on numerous television shows in the United States and abroad as well as being interviewed on dozens of radio shows and giving over 100 public lectures. The Renaissance Institute of Classical Homeopathy has over 150 students, including medical doctors, dentists, nurses, veterinarians, pharmacists, acupuncturists, chiropractors, and optometrists.

Dr. Luc's books include The People's Repertory (his manual for self-care with homeopathy for the layperson), and Human Condition: Critical, his introduction to homeopathy, which won second prize among 3800 papers at the First World Congress of Traditional Medicine. His book, Hahnemann Revisited: A Textbook in Homeopathy for the Practitioner, has become the standard for many.
