The elements of the periodic table have found a place in everyday practice since the pioneering work of Jan Scholten.

In this seminar, I shared a series of cases where I had very good success with mineral remedies from the second series of the periodic table. I made an attempt to study these elements by putting all the cases together.

This clinical success allowed me to study the evolution of the remedies in sequence of increasing atomic number. For me, this study brought to light a new dimension in understanding the periodic table.

Also, this work gave me some directions in understanding the remedies of the periodic table in terms of what I call "structure problem".

The mineral realm offers a myriad of remedies and a deep understanding of the periodic table is essential to the constitutional prescribing of the elements.

Shah, a masterful case taker, with wide ranging clinical experience is not the first member that comes to mind when one thinks of the fantastic work done by the Bombay Group.

This is unfortunate but may be rectified as his reliable understanding of the Second Series enriches North Americans.

Dr Shah is a renowned homeopath from the Bombay School of Classical Homeopathy. Practicing for almost twenty-five years, he has gained a reputation as a skilled teacher and a keen homeopathic prescriber. He is much sought after as an educator and has conducted numerous seminars around the world.

He began practicing classical homeopathy full time in 1981. He then began teaching in 1989, and has taught in India, Switzerland, Germany, USA, Australia and The Netherlands.

Dr. Shah is affiliated with the Maui Academy of Homeopathy (USA) and the Society of Classical Homeopaths (Sydney, Australia). He is also the trustee of the Homeopathic Research and Charities.
