It covers all aspects of obstetrics including details of the female anatomy and physiology. It contains some excellent chapters on the care of the child for the first few months of life, and treatment of common childhood diseases.
Said a review from the turn of the century, "A prominent obstetrician, who had every book on the subject published, told us that he refers to 'Guernsey' oftener than to any other in his big library. The reason for this is that Homeopathy changes not."
