From the Book
From the Preface by Alize Timmerman
This book contains important information.
Firstly we read three provings, of which especially the DNA proving is of great importance. DNA is the basic structure of our life. It is a remedy that can cure diseases having a genetic origin.
I have had the experience of treating two such cases, and it has became clear to me how important a remedy DNA is. In homeopathy we still lack remedies that can cure on this level.
Three very promising provings are presented in this book, which can help in this area of disease. Philip Robbins is an intuitive, precise Master Prover and the main information he gives about the provings is of great use for the prescriber.
The second half of the book is about development. It builds bridges between different sciences, like homeopathy and developmental psychology.
I have been reflecting a lot on the chapter about the Human Kingdom. Do the human and the animal kingdom in fact differ from each other?
The main goal of this book is to stimulate our own spiritual thinking process and this is what happens while reading it.
In our daily occupation we have a great need for the practical application of theoretical concepts. We have to deal with patients with psychological problems and we see cases with poor sense-of-self/ego identity and especially in these cases the remedies from "the Human Kingdom" will open up more possibilities for better treatment
The Universal remedies, however, are remedies which relate more to patients with spiritual problems, something we see coming up more and more in our society.
Another field for these very useful remedies lies in the treatment of patients who are "disconnected" or who suffer from a lack of "purpose".
I really enjoyed the chapter about the Development Model. During all my years of practice I have discovered that several remedies relate to a certain problem in one of the development stages. In the development stage where things went wrong lies the answer of where to look for the remedy group that relates to the problem.
When you then individualize from amongst that group you will find the right remedy for the patient. 'Evolving Homeopathy' has stimulated me enormously to differentiate these remedies more accurately.
This book has also helped me in recognizing which groups of remedies relate to which developmental problem. This book is a stimulating and challenging experience for me and it will surely inspire us all!
